Lynne Sat, 06 Mar 2010 23:12:05 +0000 http://alternative-me.com/?p=324#comment-107 I admit I'm finding a little trouble with the starting off, but I think I'd have trouble with either method, because when you start in the hole like I am, it's like starting with no money to put in the envelopes or if I were using the other method, I wouldn't really have anything to allocate to any of my categories until some income comes in. It's a little of a mental struggle accepting that for the first few months, I'll be just scraping by until I can get some sort of reserve built in, which is the goal anyway. :) .-= J. Except of course at that time, the envelopes were marked with labels like "School Supplies" and "Fun" and nowadays mine would say things like "Food", but I really want to try this.
